New Look
I finally made a new layout. Based heavily on a pattern and palette from Colourlovers (I need to link it) and Elliot Jay Stocks’s Free Bare Wordpress theme.
I need to edit the search bar, 404 page, comments and add links to sub-pages. If you find any faults, please tell me. And no, don’t ask me why there is “Stuff” link in the navigation that links nowhere. I have no idea.
Do you like it?
EDIT: I lightened the content background a bit, and changed the colours of the navigation links. Better?

Ouuu, I love it :D The header is great :)
The only problem I see is that the comment box I’m typing in is stretched wayyy out and makes this page scroll to the side.

This is fun — love the quirky patterns. Looks like you might need a little more contrast on the links though (for the navigation). :)

OMFG.
you simply cant miss. you have this great magic touch that makes thing look amazing. i like your ex-layout but i fucking love this one. you made it awesome. and girly, in a way. (damn, my mummy just said to me that even my little sister is more girly than i am :( )

It’s nice, but the comment box stretches on forever in FF on Windows XP.. So, if you could fix that it’d look even more amazing :D

Yeah, I still have to make comments look nicer. The input box is shorter now, I hope it looks okay for everyone.

Very nice color combination… though the header pattern stands out a bit too much compared to the rest. Maybe you shouldn’t have used such a big contrast.
Oh and I wouldn’t have the horizontal lines separating the posts. They chop off the whole layout into multiple pieces…
All in all I like the general feel, just not the way you seem to be abusing these white dotted lines.

I wasn’t really sure I like the horizontal lines in the first place. So this gives me an excuse to get rid of them.
Would it be better if I make the background for the content area a little lighter?

I like the plaid, no wait, I love it, but staring at it too much time hurts my eyes. I guess it’s because of the lines running all across it. And the layout is a bit confusing to me, I was so confused when there wasn’t any comments link either up or down the post.

Yes, I think the main background needs to be lighter… Not only because of the large contrast, but also because the links can barely be read.
